This is how CarPlay works in the Ferrari California T

MotoManTV takes an in-depth look at CarPlay in Ferrari’s California T.

The Ferrari California T is one of the first four cars from the company to come equipped with Apple’s CarPlay infotainment system. CarPlay allows you to access some features and apps on your iPhone 5 or above from the dashboard display in your car. It also provides access to Siri so you can access these features hands-free.

The 20-minute technical review above goes over the California’s Carplay integration in detail. As is the case on most other CarPlay-equipped vehicles and third-party head units, the Ferrari’s dashboard display features the company’s own system, in addition to CarPlay, which can be accessed with a dedicated hardware button.
