Samsung's ultra-thin Galaxy A8 heads to South Korea

Samsung introduced its thinnest smartphone yet — the 5.9mm thick Galaxy A8 — in China earlier this month, and has now launched the handset in its home market. The Galaxy A8 will be available starting July 24 from SK Telecom for 649,000 Korean Won ($563), with white and gold color options on offer.
