Mobile device accessory maker Mophie has taken the wraps off of a new dock connector for the Apple Watch today.
Simply called “Watch Dock,” the stand incorporates a slot for the charger that comes with the Apple Watch out of the box for waht looks to be a stylish way to charge and display the wearable. From Mophie’s description:
This elegant watch dock features durable aluminum construction with premium leather accents, creating a high-quality finish that complements your Apple Watch. Compatible with all Apple Watch models and bands.
As far as tech specs are concerned, the Watch Dock weighs in at 3.86 ounces and measures 4.64in x 2.87in x 2.52in, so it’s fairly compact as well.
Similar to the Griffin Watchstand, the Watch Dock looks to be an elegant way to display and charge your Apple Watch. The dock is currently up for pre-order from Mophie for $59.95 from the source link below, with a ship date set for April 24 — which also happens to be the official launch date for the Apple Watch itself.
