iMore's Peter Cohen and Ally Kazmucha will talk app discovery at AltConf 2015

The alternative WWDC event, AltConf will take place in the AMC Metreon from June 8-12. Today, we’re excited to confirm that our own Peter Cohen and Ally Kazmucha are on the speaker list.

The crew from iMore will be discussing how developers can get their apps noticed by the media. The app stores (on all platforms, not just Apple) are battlegrounds for developers looking to get their apps and games accessed by the millions of consumers. Blogs and media outlets still prove to be valuable assets to have at hand.

Peter and Ally will be joined by Jim Dalrymple, Victor Agreda and Neil Ticktin. Other speakers have been confirmed for AltConf too, including the likes of Laura Savino of Khan Academy, and Jay Freeman of Cydia. Should you be interested in attending this year’s AltConf, tickets are free though you can purchase a “Hero Supporter” ticket for $300 (guaranteed seating and a swag bag).

The speaking schedule for AltConf has been finalized and can be viewed by heading to the conference website.
