How to connect your iPhone to your TV
Are you felling scarce about a personal theater system where you could enjoy only your favorite videos and movies anytime you want? You can find them in online shops or at any electronics store. But for the iPhone 6, 6 Plus or 5, 5c, and 5s you have to use a different connector than earlier versions, the Lightning Digital AV Adapter. Step 1: First connect the adapter to your iPhone by plugging the AV Adapter into either the 30-pin connector or the Lightning connector of your phone, depending on your phone model.
Step 2: Then you have to plug one end of the HDMI cable into the port on the adapter and the other end into an HDMI port that is available on your TV.

Method 2: TV Connection by Using an Analogue Connection
If your TV does not support HDMI, you can apply this method. Your iPhone can also be connected by using an analogue connection. To do so, you must have to Purchase the correct adapter. You have a few different choices that depends on your iPhone model,
For the users of iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, iPhone 4s :
By Apple Composite AV Cable: You have to plug this cable into your 30-pin connector and it will allow you to connect to the composite port on your TV. This is actually a three-prong connector, typically have colored in red, white, and yellow.
By Apple Component AV Cable: You can also use this cable instead of above one. This cable also has to be connected via same port, the 30-pin connector and it will allow you to connect with the component port on your TV. This is a cable consists of five-prong connector, typically red, blue, green, yellow and white in colour. This will offer you a better picture quality than Composite, but the problem is many TVs do not support it.
For the users of iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 5, 5c, and 5s
By Apple Lightning to VGA Adapter: you just need to plug your cable into your Lightning connector, and it will allow you to connect to the VGA port on your TV. The VGA cable is looked like an older monitor cable, and need to secure it at both side.
After fulfilling the above condition that is appropriate, just follow the steps.
Step 1: First connect the adapter to your iPhone by plugging the adapter or cable to your phone. In case of using the VGA adapter, you have to connect one end of the VGA cable to the adapter and secure it properly with the side screws.
Step 2: then just connect the cable to your TV. But first find out the available port, that matches your cable. If you are using Composite or Component cables, then be sure about the colors of cable and port before plug in. And if you are using a VGA cable, make sure that it is secured properly.
Step 3: If you are using the Lightning to VGA adapter for connection, you will have to connect your audio separately. This requirement is essential because the VGA cable does not transmit audio signal. You just have to connect an audio cable from your headphone jack to a speaker system, or otherwise you may use the second Lightning port of the adapter to connect to a home theater system.
Step 4: Now just turn your TV on to the correct input. Make sure that the input matches the connector that is attached to your iPhone.
