US Cellular is launching a new promotion in which it aims to lower bills for Verizon and AT&T customers who move to its network. If the pricing is unable to be beat, US Cellular will give you a $50 promotional card. The move is a bold one, but nothing new. We have seen Sprint run a similar promotion, targeting Verizon customers to lower their bill.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to just walk into a US Cellular retail location with a bill they can’t beat and get $50. In order to qualify, you will need to port your number and then choose one of the US Cellular Shared Connect plans with installment pricing. The guarantee only applies to the monthly recurring fee of the plan, not the installment fee and all the extras.
If you are looking to ditch your current carrier, and hope to save a couple of bucks in doing so, be sure to check out the latest offerings from US Cellular.
